Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement and being fascinated at the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music as a passion rather than as a job. As a result, she began writing the music she composed herself. Her sources include noted authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love for Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to play her music publicly, not to be famous, but in order to show others the importance of their work and how they can make a difference to make a difference in the world. When she was six she started playing the piano and at nine was writing music. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached 14. Aurora has never imagined becoming a star. She claims that she enjoys creating music. According to her, she believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
