She is most famous within her native United States as the widowed actress of the cable series Deadwood. She was also praised for her role as the lesbian's daughter military officer as part of "Serving with Silence" and won critical praise for her performance.

Ree Drummond Ree Drummond, an American food writer and blogger as well as a television personality, has been a writer for television since 2005. She is most well-known for The Pioneer Woman blog, she is an American author and blogger. She lives at a ranch close to Oklahoma. In her blogs she writes about her daily life at the ranch as a mom and a wife. In the Annual Weblog Awards, The Pioneer Woman won the Weblog of the Year in 2009 2010, 2011 and 2012. She studied journalism and gerontology at college. She was born in Bartlesville Oklahoma, she was born and raised in the area. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions of A Pioneer Woman is one of her most popular pages on her site. It gained a lot of attention and popularity with a number of prominent publications applauding the style of her writing as well as some stunning photos. Her blogs also feature delicious and visually pleasing recipes for food. In 2011, she launched her own television show called The Pioneer Woman which is continuing to air in the US on The Food Network. Most of her published books contain recipes. Recently, she revealed that her book From Black Heels to Tractor Wheels is to be turned into a film by Columbia Pictures.
